This is one of our featured items sought after by Jim Morrison (The Doors) fans and music memorabilia collectors.
Up for auction is ONE of the kitchen cupboard/cabinet KNOBS from the bldg. known as  “Jim Morrison’s Last Known U.S. Residence.”  Rear of knob is stamped “ITALY.”
This knob comes from 8216 kitchen where Diane Gardner lived, the Doors publicist for Electra Records. It was said that during fights with his girlfriend, Pam, Jim would sleep downstairs at Diane’s apt. This is also the unit where Jim gave his last U.S. interview with Ben Fong-Torres of Rolling Stone Magazine, which can be heard on youtube where he gives the address.

This landmark building “Cheri Amour”
is where Jim was living with his longtime girlfriend, Pamela Courson, from 1968-1971. It
holds a cultural and historical significance to all Doors fans worldwide as it is his last and only U.S. home that is open to the public
as a widely sought after tourist attraction and the only U.S. mock “grave” for Jim in the Memorial Garden of the courtyard.
